Reward Eligibility: Turning a Headline Into Checkable Terms

Turn the headline into a yes-or-no eligibility tree

A reward headline describes the attractive outcome; eligibility lives in the conditions. Convert the offer into a sequence of checks: eligible account, eligible region, opt-in, qualifying activity, minimum or maximum amount, completion window, reward form, wagering or use restrictions and expiry.

Complete the tree before acting. A later failure may be caused by one early condition, and repeating the qualifying action may not repair it. Save the terms version because promotional conditions can change between campaigns.

Eligibility decision points

• Is the offer for new accounts, selected accounts or all verified accounts?
• Are region, age or identity checks required before opt-in?
• Must the user enter a code or tap an enrolment control?
• Which transaction, mode or activity qualifies?
• Is there a minimum, maximum or first-action-only condition?
• What period applies to qualification and to claiming?
• Is the reward cash, locked credit, points, a ticket or another item?
• What use, wagering, withdrawal and expiry conditions attach after crediting?

Credited does not always mean withdrawable

A reward may appear in the interface while remaining locked to specific use. Check the balance label and withdrawal terms instead of treating the displayed amount as cash. If a progress meter exists, record what contributes and what happens at expiry.

If support gives a different interpretation from the published terms, ask for the answer in writing and save both records. Do not continue qualifying activity while a material condition remains contradictory.

• Offer name, campaign identifier and terms version.
• Account segment, region and verification eligibility.
• Opt-in timestamp or promotional-code confirmation.
• Qualifying action, amount and completion timestamp.
• Expected reward form and crediting window.
• Wagering, contribution or use restriction.
• Claim and expiry deadlines with timezone.
• Support reference for any missing or contradictory condition.

Unknown conditions mean the offer is not ready to evaluate

A reward can be attractive and still be a poor fit once restrictions are visible. Compare the conditions with the action you already intended to take; do not create extra spending merely to make a headline feel valuable.
